Backpacking

  Move Out

Most people hike and backpack because they enjoy it. Longtime hikers, and even the new ones, later realise that there are a lot of benefits of backpacking. Here are a few reasons to hike and backpack:

Live Out: Most of us live and work indoors for a major part of our life. The Indian wilderness abounds in fresh air, birds and other animals, green trees, mighty mountains, flowing rivers and deep valleys. So go outdoors and get a sense of contentment and even inspiration.

Live Healthy: Hiking and backpacking are highly physical activities that keep you healthy. They help to control weight, improve circulation, strengthen muscles and build stronger bones. Backpacking, as compared to simple walking, makes a variety of muscles work in different ways due to the uneven and rough terrains in India. Climbing increases your strength and stamina.

Live well: Leave the hustle-bustle of everyday life to hike through trails, across mountains and into valleys. It inevitably has a calming effect. Backpacking, thus, is a great way to de-stress yourself. All those burdens you are carrying around in your mind become a little lighter, and sometimes, disappear as well. Sometimes, especially if you are solo hiking, it becomes easy to open your mind and think about problems, people and events in your life. In fact, your mind may open up to ideas or answers to any troubles that you may have.
