would find the season of your choice or the kind of place you would want as per your requirements?

Here are a few places that might give you brief idea as to how the climate in India is:

New Delhi
Summers are long, from early April to October, with the monsoon season in between
Winter starts in November and peaks in January and is notorious for its heavy fog, which often disrupts road, air and rail traffic. Extreme temperatures range from −0.6 °C (30.9 °F) to 47 °C (116.6 °F)

Mumbai
The climate of Mumbai can be broadly classified into two main seasons — the humid season, and the dry season. The humid season, between March and October, is characterized by high humidity and temperatures of over 30 °C (86 °F). The monsoon rains pour down on the city between June to September, it is not advisable to backpack in the rainy season as you might get frustrated with too much rainfall and stagnant water on the roads.

Calcutta
Summers are hot and humid with temperatures in the low 30's and during dry spells the maximum temperatures often exceed 40 °C (104 °F) during May and June. Winter tends to last for only about two and a half months, with seasonal lows dipping to 12 °C – 14 °C (54 °F – 57 °F) between December and January. The highest rainfall occurs during the monsoon in August

Chandigarh
Hot summers, slightly cold winters, unreliable rainfall and great variation in temperature (0 °C to 46.5 °C). In winter, frost sometimes occurs during December and January

Bangalore
The coolest month is January with an average low temperature of 15.1 °C and the hottest month is April with an average high temperature of 33.6 °C
Bangalore usually enjoys salubrious climate throughout the year, although freak heat waves can make things very uncomfortable in the summer.
The wettest months are September, October and August, in that order.The summer heat is moderated by fairly frequent thunderstorms, which occasionally cause power outages and local flooding

Chennai
For most of the year, the weather is hot and humid. The hottest part of the year is late May and early June, known locally as Agni Nakshatram ("fire star")
The coolest part of the year is January, with minimum temperatures around 19–20 °C

Ahmedabad
There are three main seasons: summer, monsoon and winter. Aside from the monsoon season, the climate is dry The weather is hot through the months of March to June
From November to February, the average maximum temperature is 30 °C (85 °F), the average minimum is 15 °C (59 °F), and the climate is extremely dry
Cold northerly winds are responsible for a mild chill in January. The southwest monsoon brings a humid climate from mid-June to mid-September

Jaipur
The climate of the district is dry and healthy and is subject to extremities of cold and heat during winter and summer respectively, due to proximity to the Thar Desert

Shimla
The climate in Shimla is predominantly cold during winters and moderately warm during summers.
Snowfall in the region, which usually took place in the month of December has lately (over the last fifteen years) been happening in January or early February every year.
